Greater Noida: greater problems faced by farmers in India!

It's a sad truth of an agricultural nation. Livid farmers fighting for their rights, made helpless, suppressed and targeted merely as political pawns, with ruling govt. paying no heed.  What is a farmer without his land? Govt. argues in the courts that it's acquiring land in public interest, but it's more than evident, that they're doing this in corporate interest. Yamuna Expressway, an another ambitious project of UP CM, is supposed to take a person from Delhi to Agra in merely in 2hrs. But what's so hurry to reach Agra.? Is the destination Agra so developed? Does Agra itself has good roads, amenities and infra.? Answer is plain no.  Then why govt needs to go out of the way to build Yamuna Expressway, unless it wants to add several zeroes preceded by 1, in their cash accounts! Additionally, the plots are also being acquired by govt. for the builders who shall develop skyscrapers, malls, hotels etc along the express way. And who benefits? Of-course not the common people like farmers, who are main voters deciding who rules the roost and is at the helm of the State. The farmers at the first place, don't want to part from their lands, but when so much pressurized by govt. which is snatching the land anyways, all these former want is at-least 80% cost of their land and some also want only 50 % of their land to be taken away. Fine. Govt. should negotiate. But the govt. is haughty customer. They say, whatever money you're getting has been pre-finalized. Go away and settle elesewhere. Trees, crops on the land are being bulldozed, and when protested, govt. say uproot you crops and take them with you, we don't need it.! What a shame! The beneficiaries are the builders, who're given farming plots at prices well-below the market price, in name of development. The Land Acquisition Bill is stuck in the parliament for years, but meanwhile, Nuclear Deal bill was passed in jiffy, as if Rajdhani train needs to be given pass, who cares about poor local trains!

Pakistan: When will you ever learn ?

No one, even God can't, help those who can't help themselves. Yes, the people of Pak, you need to move on with your lives, but at the same time you need to ask some really tough questions to your governance, intelligence, Army & religious fundamentalists, that what are their priorities!? What is it that they seek, that will lead Pak and its citizens to a safe, secure and prosperous 'mustakbil' !? Will merely keeping good rapport with USA or China help ? Or will differentiating good & bad terrorists help? Will politicizing and keeping differences with India help ? Our enemy is terrorists who have sold their conscience, as well as religion, to walk on path of devils. Shouldn't we be united in our stand against Terror? After all there's strength in Unity. And at same time, it's important to guard our sovereignty. Why shelter international criminals, so as to become victim of 'drone' attacks and 'Navy Seals' ? How can Pak govt let its citizens die in 'drone' attacks,while terrorists are taken care of in'safe' houses!? Some may discount this as collateral damage! But who in the world can give themselves the right to dismiss several human being's death and label it “collateral damage”?

To Aalaw, the people who want complete independence of Kashmir...

I admire that you people seek complete Independence of Kashmir. But have you thought of, what next? Chinese intrusion is evident in case of Taiwan, Tibet, Mongolia and Aksai Chin too! If at all you succeed in achieving your aim, how do you plan to tackle an aggressive China and defiant Pak army and terror groups? 


Keep reiterating that, you hate India, and that Indian govt is making life hell esp. for Kashmiris is so wrong.


The laxity of Indian governance is not only in Kashmir, but in other 27 states and 7 UTs as well, though the extent of atrocities may differ. There's constant tussle between the State, Centre, Police, and people. The Naxalite movement in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, WB, Andhra, Bihar, maharashtra is one of the glaring examples. The farmers commiting suicides in AP, Punjab, Maharashtra, Bihar, tamil nadu, karnataka. 


The misery of North-East states, facing wrath of terrorism and subsequent troubles of AFSPA that you also face. The illicit crimes in Mumbai, Delhi, bihar, U.P. The increasing number of loots and gangrape in Delhi, u.P. Rajasthan, bihar and maharashtra. The plundering of mines in Odeisha, AP, Karnataka. the killing of girl child and its foetus in haryana, Rajasthan and other states. Dubious panchayats giving out fatwas and killing innocents in name of honor. The incessant riots, vandalism, day to day, with glaring example of Gujrat, Delhi, bihar , maha, Ap and Karnataka riots.

The atrocities of police are uncountable. The spread of Mafia raj,. The DM of districts being burned and police is unable to act. The Rs. 2lakh crore tax payers money gone in 2G scam. And subsequent so many crores looted from all over India, and not just Kashmir, in these 63 years. Add to that the unemployment, malnutrition is affecting large part of India. We all are filled with anger. We all feel your pain, as we have been feeling ours. 

Just now you admitted that the media is bias, then how come you wud know, how the common masses of India really feel. When you say media is biased, Please don't assume the Indian public is bias. The media won't show you the real indian public. the real Indian public is as much raged, troubled, filled with agony. We are as much pained seeing the bloodshed, if not more. The 63 years of independence has been horrendous for the whole country.  You may not feel, but I can tell you how much of my heart, i have poured in, in writing these words. 

The problems have been and continue to multifold due to corruption at every sphere of life. The politicians are plundering our wealth and blinding us by IPL and cricket. The anguish you feel, is shared by other 1 billion Indians in their hearts. The tribesman, the worker, the farmers, and middleclass in India is fighting a fight of hope against hope. There's hardly anyone safe. the gov takes over land and kills people in Singur(WB), in Greater Noida, in Odisha, in Gujrat, in maha, in TN. Ther's so much mayhem my friend, in all over India. We the citizens are all together, it's the govt. which has been laxing, be it in case of Kshmir or any other 27 states and 7 UTs of India.

In short, iss India me hum sab pareshan hain, aur iss jung me aap akele nahin. par hume apne ghar ko theek karna hai. Hum kisi se darte nahin, jo ghar se alag ho jayein, ya apna batwara kar lein. Hume poora azad hindustan chahiye, jo aaj bhi, neta, businessmen, army, or dehshatgardon ke adheen hai. India is still not independent folks. The traitors that you call are not people of India, but the politicians and richie riches of India. They simply transferred powers from Britishraj to their Sarkar Raj. Gore Angrez chale gaye, ab kaale angrezon se ladna hai. Yes, we all will not only pray, but fight to get rid of the filth. And securing not just Kashmir, UP, Bihar, manipur, Maharashtra etc. But securing all of India from this goondaraj. Obviously, we've to fight these battles in our respective states. Lekinboycott ki policy se kuchh haasil na hoga bhaiyon. hume system me ghoos ke, sendh lagani hogi, saafai karni hogi, aur apna haq na mile to chheenana hoga.


Allah khairiyat rakhe appki. Yadi aap log alag hokar khush rahenge toh, yahi sahi. Koi bhi Indian yeh nahi chahta ki aap apni khoon ki kimat par, humare sath raho. Jahan tak baat nepal, bhutan, srilanka nbangladesh jaise mulko ki hai, wo kayam hain kyuki unke paas strong leadership / Emperors the/hain. Mushkile unko bhi hui, aur khair China toh sabpe lalchai nazar gadaye huye hai, par Wahan ki leadership ne Janta ke sath sarokar banaye rakha, aur kisi ko nazar nahi uthane diya. 


Doosri baat, kashmirki strategical position kaisi hai, iska andaza aap isi se laga sakte hain, ki POK me China ne road, dam, powerplant etc. banane me koi deri nahi ki, aur apne soldiers bhi bhej diye. 
Teesri baat,Agar kal aap alag ho gaye toh, kya ladakh aapke sath rahega, ya wo Tibet ki tarah China me chala jayega? Jammu ka hissa yadi bharat me ayega, toh kya wahan bhi Punjab ki tarah dehshatgardi failegi? Yadi aapka maksad kayam hua, toh fir kattarpanthi neta, talibani hukm to nahi chalayenge? Pak army kya, hamle karna band kar degi? Al qayeda aur taliban ko yadi bhagna ho, to kya wo kashmir ko adda nahi banayenge?

Quake quack!

At 1:55 IST (19 Jan'11) when Nehra hit the ball for boundary and India sealed thrilling victory vs SA #cricket, I turned around to dining table for glass of water. Suddenly I heard rumbling and knocking from behind the kitchen balcony door. As I drew closer in apprehension of what it could be, the kitchen cupboards started giving kicking sound and trying to open shut by themselves. "Evil Spirit!".. for once I puzzled in surprise. Next moment I could feel my hairs being pulled back and my body feeling a rare magnetic field. Now I could even feel and see my home(flat@7th floor) swaying, in tremor, OMG.. it struck me, it's Earth Quake. I hurried see my maa-pa deep in sleep and quaked that "we've been struck by Quake". Paa fully awakened by now and Maa spondilytis patient wreathed in pain when woken suddenly. Neighbors around had started getting to society's park. But tremor had subsided by then. Paa enquired me and then switched to Aaj Tak for quake update. It was around 1 min tremor with intensity of 7.4 on richter scale epicentered in Pak. Fearing aftershocks, I suggested let's get down by stairs too. But maa relented saying, don't worry, and let's be together and sleep.  There's nothing we can do. I sat down beside maa-pa for 5-10 mins, as they kept awake too. Maybe praying or thinking what and what nots. then paa slept and so did maa. And I tucked in beside paa in the blanket. Next morning I woke last. Maa said she could hardly sleep all night.

Yeah, indeed, how miniscule our lives are when faced with Nature's wrath. Let's take care of our families n closed ones and make most of whatever time we have by sharing happiness and giving meaning to our life in all positive ways.

I prepared veg pulao

With aid of my mum and tips from my friend^-^. I prepared for first time veg pulao.. And
I must confess it was tasty.. mum was surprised and paa luved it too..

First..in cooker added veg oil(ghee), jeera (cumin seeds), tejpatta (bay leaf), onion(optional),tomato,cauliflower...
Ofcourse mum did the cuttiing stuff... Now rest i did... sachchi.. :-)

Add biryani masala too , if you have... I added cashew,raisins,cardamom,laung (cloves) for taste.

Fry till all stuff turns light brown..Add 2 pinch turmeric and 1 teaspoon salt too.. as per taste.

Now most imp... washh rice 2-3 times... :-) jab tak pani saaf na dikhne lage.. (till water is not clear)

For 3 person.. 250 gm rice is ok... add rice to light brown stuuff in cauldron(kadhai)..2-3 min chalao.. till rice becomes light brown too.. Mix all stuuff well..an dekh k rice kahin jal na jaye! (mind the overcooking of rice)

Ab kadhai se ek chhotu container me rice and spice mix dalo... and Add water 2 glass.. flood jaisa.. par over flow nahi... :-)

Put the container in cooker.. Warning ! cooker me 1/2 glass pani is must..or it may burst...

After 10 mins.. at first whistle of cooker... you switch off the stove flame.. and your veg pulao is ready.. :-)

Apology or not: Paul Henry types must not be given heed

The famous (or infamous) breakfast show TVNZ anchor, has lately made a habit of blurting out useless things in the name of humor. Apparently he made fun of Delhi CM's name and also had some jibes over a governor in NZ of Indian ethnicity. It's obvious that affected communities shall raise an eye over the remarks, but folks let's not get carried away. Media persons have been doing uncanny things to stackup TRPs for their channel and to keep their names buzzing in all the corners. So it would be better if we just move on and forget about it, Rather than taking the issue to new level i.e. racism. Tell me which country is devoid of some people making stupid remarks or gestures now and then? the answer is plain no. Then how does one another such incident make us lose our cool heads? The channel and authorities shall see into the matter and it shall be resolved.

But one thing is to be taken care of for sure, Humor if taken personally, is not a good indication, And of-course it's a known fact that we've not had the best records of tackling the humor. C'mon everyone, it's kids thing of wailing if the name's being made fun of! It's time we grow up, what say ? The only way we can avoid such people or remarks is by not paying much heed to such issues, playing it down And most important for the media would be to give it less air time or space. On that part, I think Delhi CM has done well so far. She's a graceful and respectful lady, And utterly unfazed by the incident.

CWG and ways of Govt.

Common Wealth Games 2010 has been marred with several controversies. yet the OC seems unperplexed and govt seems caught unaware, while common man and other nations seem bewildered.

Most surprising the way govt. has handles this project. While most of the funds have been drained away, Now govt. wants Indian authorities to serve for FREE! More than 400 doctors have been asked to give them their service. At first, it seems normal. But here's the catch. The doctors have been asked forcefully to pen down their signature on the compulsory service form. Moreover, they will receive no exgratia and travel allowance, they have to bear all expenses by themselves.

SCOPE building in New Delhi housing Head-offices of Maha-Ratnas of the country like NTPC, ONGC etc. has been ordered to be vacatewd for accomodation of CWG officials. Gosh! And the top-brass of the companies have been left to make their own arrangements for office during this fortnight of CWG. "wtf"!! I mean which country spends thousand crores on builing 40 towers for CWG village, and then asks it's premium offices in capital to be vacated for accomodation ? This can happen only in utterly mis-managed India.

Well, maybe things are not so mismanaged, And that's what a foreign journalist who has a blog on cwg2010, would like to think so. According to her, when she first arrived at Delhi, she was greeted by beggars and cows on streets of Delhi. But after she returned from her one week tour of nearby Agra and Mathura, she couln't find a single beggar or cow loittering down on streets!! Ha! That's the great Indian trick..! And our govt. has mastered that not in a week, but it takes years of practice before every general or state elections. Moreover guests are considered God in India (with few exceptions of Rape, murder, stealing, ill-beahaving by police etc. of foreign tourists in Goa and elsewhere), so we have to welcome them with clean homes, streets and people ! So what if big CWG hoardings were used just to hide slums. theworkers who toiled hard to make cwg a success were kicked off and beggars transferred to other less important parts of national capital region. See, we are not such bad event managers afterall.

Sir/madam,

This is regarding CNN-IBN Special: Is there an anti-Muslim bias in urban housing societies?

aired on CNN-IBN on 16th September.

The program and survey conducted was ill-timed and almost needless, looking at present Geo-political and socially degraded conditions in J & K, other parts of India and across the world. Adding to that there have been rumors and stories going on of suspected terrorists roaming in Mumbai , 12 cities of India on militant targets. And AYODHYA Case Verdict due to come on 24th Sep.

Being an young and alert citizen of India, and avid fan of CNN-IBN, I was shocked and baffled to see your channel coming with such news special in these "tense times".The channel known for it's journalistic values and high credentials, must not instigate any communal differences which would further aggravate already weak and murky conditions of j & K and all over India. The channel must also be aware of the fact, that the reportage would have been aired all across the border and across the continents. just like Salman's interview on Pak channel created turmoil in India, the same could happen with this Special Survey Report in Muslim populous states and nations, And aid anti-India forces to yet again fuel the fire in hearts of terrorists and locals citing this story.  This may not be evident, but such reportage by a Eminent Indian News Channel of yours in such bad times could be fatal in long run.

Maybe am hyperventilating, but I hope you have got hold of my concerns and do take some remedial measures to counter any damage(seen or unseen) which may have already happened among the masses. Please try and propagate UNITY and PEACE, rather than discovering new reasons for differences. Show the world the examples of Hindu Muslim living in peace and let them emulate you. Am not suggesting the channel to be hypocrite, but the news should not in any case be a shot in arm for the anti-India forces. , in these terrible times.

                             

Let's try and be messenger of peace. This will be a great service to our nation and world.
