SPOOF: "Cong MLA denied participation in "Jhalak.. -4" shows his skills on Speaker's podium!?"

Bhubaneshwar: Ruckus in the Odisha Assembly again. MLA from the Opposition party, Congress, climbed to the Speaker's podium during the question hour.

Cong MLA showing his skills on Speaker's podium

The Speaker who wanted to carry on with the proceedings despite loud protests from Congress MLA's inside the well of the house was forced to go for adjournment when a Congress MLA jumped to his table, danced and slept on it for a while.

Though, the Congress members have been staging protests in the well of the house for over a week demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his role in the acquisition of land for Vedanta University,

But our inside sources from Congress confirmed to Faking news, that climbing on Speaker's podium was not part of their itinerary. The person who climbed to the podium was, the Cong MLA who has recently been denied participation in Sony's premiere dance show "Jhalak Dikhla Ja -Season 4" featuring ester years dhak dhak girl Madhuri Dixit and already badnam munni, Malaika Arora. The Cong MLA was so agitated by his non-inclusion in the show that he decided to show the world his talents and skills of dancing moves on the State Assembly's Speaker's podium itself.

Later replying to why he chose only the Speaker's podium to present his latent talent, Cong MLA gleefully replied to Faking News," I was looking for an opportunity to come in public and showcase my talent. Knowing that, public and media won't come to cover my show in any local auditorium even free of cost, I planned to execute my performance on the Speaker's podium in midst of the other major agitation which shall fetch maximum media and shutterbug's glare."

When asked "Jhalak…" organizers that are they ruing the fact of not including a Cong MLA in their show? They simply replied by saying 3 words,"This isn't circus!"

Well, probably "Jhalak…" isn't circus, but looking at Odisha assembly's past track record, It certainly can be renamed into Great Odiya Circus!

Meanwhile, the Cong party seems to be embarrassed by their party MLA's dancing skills. Cong spokesperson Manish Tiwari told to Faking news that." it was Cong MLA's individual decision to dance to the groove on Speaker's podium in Odisha, And after seeing his performance neither Soniaji nor other party members think that he is suitable for 'Jhalak…' !"

A large delegation of the ruling party, Biju Janata Dal, met with the Speaker and requested him to ensure that the Cong MLA shouldn't dance on Bollywood songs, And only Odiya number must be played inside the Odisha State Assembly House.

SPOOF: "Raja, Kalmadi and Adarsh Corrupts to endorse Royal Stag!" ?

Superstar and the hero of India's corruption block buster – 2G Spectrum Scam, A.Raja, has been appointed the first Political Brand Ambassador for the global brand Seagram's Royal Stag. Surprisingly, he follows a list of illustrious brand ambassadors for Royal Stag which include Ricky Ponting, Harbhajan Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Stephen Fleming, Brett Lee and Saif Ali Khan.

A.Raja, at the press event to announce the endorsement said, "I am very proud of being chosen by a premium brand such as Seagram's Royal Stag. I am sure that this association will be mutually beneficial."

Royal Stag will use its association with A.Raja for a range of activities, which include two television campaigns produced by Red Ice – Sujit Sarkar and a print campaign shot by famed lensman Atul Kasbekar and created by Ogilvy & Mather.

Commenting on the endorsement, Sumeet Lamba, Executive Vice President – Marketing, Seagram, said to Faking News, "We see a synergy between the core values of the brand and A.Raja. Raja is a young, contemporary politician with an international appeal and is popular across demographics. His constant defiance of alleged corruption and repetitiveness of defiant attitude saying "Have I made it large?" goes perfectly in sync with Royal Stag's tagline"

A.Raja, now the ex-telecom minister, is alleged for Rs 1.75 lakh crore 2G spectrum scam under Dr. Manmohan Singh led government. He successfully provided benefits to some selective companies of his choice while allocating 2G spectrum at unreasonably low rates, bringing heavy loss to the government treasury. The relationship between Seagram and A.Raja was facilitated by Richvine, the entertainment division of DMK's SUN TV.

Also joining Mr. Raja would be some other eminent corrupt personnels of country. Seagram's announced that they have signed on Suresh Kalmadi And a few of Adarsh corrupts as Brand Ambassador, at a Press Conference in Delhi today.

Speaking about the association with Kalmadi and Adarsh Corrupts, Bikram Basu, Vice President-Marketing Pernod Ricard India said, They all represent Seagram’s Royal Stag’s philosophy to dream big and Make it Large! Kalmadi’s journey from debut to date, has been inspirational, where now, he is unanimously acknowledged as one of the greatest corrupts of the nation across the country”.

Speaking at the announcement, Manish Tiwari, Spokesperson, Congress said to Faking News, "Working with the 'Seagram’s Royal Stag brand is symbolic of a politician having made it large! For A.Raja, Kalmadi and group at UPA, it is a privilege to work with Team Royal Stag”.

"I am delighted to be part of the Royal Stag line-up that includes my fellow corrupt mates “ said Suresh Kalmadi on the association.

tum sanvri-saloni...

aisa koi din, aisi koi raat nahin hoti.
jab mere hriday ki mere mastisk se tumhari baat nahin hoti..
aisa koi sur, aisi koi taal nahin hoti.
jise soon mere karnon pe tumhare varnon ki vachal nahin hoti..
aise koi ank, aisi koi shabdavli nahin hoti.
jise padh mere nainon mein tumhare patron ki paheli nahin hoti..
aise koi teej-tyohar, aisi koi holi-deepawli nahin hoti.
jisme mere angon pe rang udelne, apni muskan k deep jalane,
tum sanvri saloni nahin hoti.

Primroses... whilst train journey

Primroses grown in the banks of the lane. The ...Image via Wikipedia

Passing by a lane, having my sush.
Just gave an uninterested glance to nearby bush
There was something which just caught my attention
And I thought tiny yellow beautiful primroses do deserve a mention.

Life is green but dense
For some it makes good fence
Some leaves tiny, some leaves big
Crisscrossed twigs having a dig.

Everyone’s life has primroses
How simple tiny yellow sweet little things are they!
Life grows around them,
Sometimes proceeds further cause of them.
Sometimes end at last cause of them.
But without them life is not life,
It’s a bush

Primroses add life to them
End the never ending strife in them.
Primroses in life means pursuit of pleasure
Whatever you desire and aspire to do with your work and leisure.
Don’t count them with roses which have the league of their own,
Though not so royal,
Primroses are often priceless than throne!

    For our lucky friendship...

    FriendsImage via Wikipedia

    Oh! You miss me…

    Passing time
    In busy regime
    Thoughts just begin to rupture
    To develop false mixconjecture
    But it was all wrong
    And it beats me
    Oh! You miss me…

    Words happen to create silence
    Sometimes it is greater violence
I wonder how it is so
Life seems at times quite low
    But it was all wrong
    And it beats me
    Oh! You miss me…

Its not that I ever doubt you
    Thinketh Thy SWEET,
    Bees around you.
    That makes me so possessive
    Never wanna be submissive.
    But it was all wrong
    And it beats me
    Oh! You miss me…

Its only two moments I ever think of you
    Its Now and Forever

Why do I like you ?

Last night i was just... just wondering,
Amidst the heavy rains & thundering.

That there must be... some reason... worth know to...

Why the breeze waive the trees,
    Why the plants bear flowers,
    Why the bees love nectar,
Why the clouds rain & thunder,
    And why do...
    Why do i like you?

That there must be... some reason... worth know to...

    Why the sun rises everyday,
Why the moon shines ever bright,
Why the earth isn’t flat but round,
Why the light is faster than sound,
    And why do...
    Why do i like you?

That there must be... some reason... worth know to...

Why people don’t fly with wings,
Why the grass grows green n thin,
Why the rivers go to meet the ocean,
Why the rain drops are so cold n wet,
    And why do...
    Why do i like you?

That there must be... some reason... worth know to...

Yeah we’ve been friends for quite a while,
Even on gloomy days we make each other smile.
I always say, you make my day,
You make me feel in a special way.

But still... there must be... some reason... worth know to...

    Why do...
    Why do i like you?

    Time Pass

The Passage of TimeImage by ToniVC
    What are you doing ?
    Time Pass !
Bunking not so important lecture in the class.
Glaring diligently at the passing by lass.
    Nothing important,but
    Time Pass !

    What are you doing ?
    Passing the time !
Finding a way to spend a dime.
    Chit-chatting non-chalantly nine-to-nine.
    Nothing important, but
    Passing the time !

    But, Hello Mr. fatuous frenzy,
pass time is not at all trendy.
Its not you who is passing the time,
Actually its the time which is passing by you.

Remember time is a valuable thing,
Don't watch it fly by, as the pendulum swings.
    Keep that in mind as i repeat this rhyme. }

Or, it will be useless later to sit down and whim.

" Taking lame excuses is not the time's take,
Split seconds decide, your 'mustakbil' make or break."

Terror attacks... an irremovable blot on humanity!

    9/11 or Kandhar,
    discotheque inBali,
    or in Pakistani majar.

Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad or Mumbai at last,
or let it be the devastating Madrid train blast.

People all over have the same pain,
Same is the splattered crimson red blood stain.

Why people in J&K, Tibet, Jaffna, Sudan , Bolivia, Chechanya are still like strangers,
living daily on edge of dangers.

Why the monks in Myanmar are being thrashed openly,
and the poor Iraq was being victimised solely.

    Who is playing game,
    and who is acting sane..?

Laden or Bush whom to blame..

    Humanity itself has become lame..
    humanity itself has become lame..!

    Ace of Hearts...!!!

iPhone heart photo - 43/365 - Ace of HeartsImage by findingthenow
    i expect things,and i never get.
    Often they let go,Often forget.
Life is like a game of cards,
Seldom you get the Ace of Hearts!

Life for me is full of irony,
Happy days are sewn with mix of tyranny...
Those who are dear are not quiet near,
and some who are near are also not quiet near..!

The little things that i desire,
budding from inside, my soul's fire.
Are turned to ashes by their cold ire,
Trickle down tears, & i still aspire.

If it is something i really want,
I won't get jolted by unexpected daunt.
    I won't be startled, I won't be marred,
In game of life, shall always find my Ace of Hearts...!

Apology or not: Paul Henry types must not be given heed

The famous (or infamous) breakfast show TVNZ anchor, has lately made a habit of blurting out useless things in the name of humor. Apparently he made fun of Delhi CM's name and also had some jibes over a governor in NZ of Indian ethnicity. It's obvious that affected communities shall raise an eye over the remarks, but folks let's not get carried away. Media persons have been doing uncanny things to stackup TRPs for their channel and to keep their names buzzing in all the corners. So it would be better if we just move on and forget about it, Rather than taking the issue to new level i.e. racism. Tell me which country is devoid of some people making stupid remarks or gestures now and then? the answer is plain no. Then how does one another such incident make us lose our cool heads? The channel and authorities shall see into the matter and it shall be resolved.

But one thing is to be taken care of for sure, Humor if taken personally, is not a good indication, And of-course it's a known fact that we've not had the best records of tackling the humor. C'mon everyone, it's kids thing of wailing if the name's being made fun of! It's time we grow up, what say ? The only way we can avoid such people or remarks is by not paying much heed to such issues, playing it down And most important for the media would be to give it less air time or space. On that part, I think Delhi CM has done well so far. She's a graceful and respectful lady, And utterly unfazed by the incident.

    B'day poem...

    Pink flowerImage via Wikipedia
    Clouds darken the sky blue,
    Sun vaporates the morning dew.
But whether its the scorching sun heat
    Or the hazy cloudy hue,
I gift you the promise of being always with you.

In moments of joy & gain,
Even in moments of pain & disdain,
If I won't be able to make you smile,
    Shall cry with you.

    The pj's,the linen thread,matching frequency
And the never ending diary brunch.
Touchwood, Wish thy and I shall always have
Such sweet crunchy friendship like Munch.

I wish this b'day be precursor
Of all your dreams to come true.
And thy shall become more healthy,
more happy & more like YOU.

    CWG and ways of Govt.

2010 Common Wealth Games MascotImage by nk.
Common Wealth Games 2010 has been marred with several controversies. yet the OC seems unperplexed and govt seems caught unaware, while common man and other nations seem bewildered.

Most surprising the way govt. has handles this project. While most of the funds have been drained away, Now govt. wants Indian authorities to serve for FREE! More than 400 doctors have been asked to give them their service. At first, it seems normal. But here's the catch. The doctors have been asked forcefully to pen down their signature on the compulsory service form. Moreover, they will receive no exgratia and travel allowance, they have to bear all expenses by themselves.

SCOPE building in New Delhi housing Head-offices of Maha-Ratnas of the country like NTPC, ONGC etc. has been ordered to be vacatewd for accomodation of CWG officials. Gosh! And the top-brass of the companies have been left to make their own arrangements for office during this fortnight of CWG. "wtf"!! I mean which country spends thousand crores on builing 40 towers for CWG village, and then asks it's premium offices in capital to be vacated for accomodation ? This can happen only in utterly mis-managed India.

Well, maybe things are not so mismanaged, And that's what a foreign journalist who has a blog on cwg2010, would like to think so. According to her, when she first arrived at Delhi, she was greeted by beggars and cows on streets of Delhi. But after she returned from her one week tour of nearby Agra and Mathura, she couln't find a single beggar or cow loittering down on streets!! Ha! That's the great Indian trick..! And our govt. has mastered that not in a week, but it takes years of practice before every general or state elections. Moreover guests are considered God in India (with few exceptions of Rape, murder, stealing, ill-beahaving by police etc. of foreign tourists in Goa and elsewhere), so we have to welcome them with clean homes, streets and people ! So what if big CWG hoardings were used just to hide slums. theworkers who toiled hard to make cwg a success were kicked off and beggars transferred to other less important parts of national capital region. See, we are not such bad event managers afterall.

Letter to Editor of CNN-IBN Special:"Is there an anti-Muslim bias in urban housing societies?"

    From: Somya Harsh (somya.harsh@yahoo.in)
    To: editor@ibnlive.com;
    Date: Fri, 17 September, 2010 11:12:51 AM
    Cc:
Subject: "CNN-IBN Special: Is there an anti-Muslim bias in urban housing societies?"- ill timed!!
    Sir/madam,
This is regarding CNN-IBN Special: Is there an anti-Muslim bias in urban housing societies?
aired on CNN-IBN on 16th September.
The program and survey conducted was ill-timed and almost needless, looking at present Geo-political and socially degraded conditions in J & K, other parts of India and across the worldAdding to that there have been rumors and stories going on of suspected terrorists roaming in Mumbai , 12 cities of India on militant targets. And AYODHYA Case Verdict due to come on 24th Sep.
Being an young and alert citizen of India, and avid fan of CNN-IBN, I was shocked and baffled to see your channel coming with such news special in these "tense times".The channel known for it's journalistic values and high credentials, must not instigate any communal differences which would further aggravate already weak and murky conditions of j & K and all over India. The channel must also be aware of the fact, that the reportage would have been aired all across the border and across the continents. just like Salman's interview on Pak channel created turmoil in India, the same could happen with this Special Survey Report in Muslim populous states and nations, And aid anti-India forces to yet again fuel the fire in hearts of terrorists and locals citing this story.  This may not be evident, but such reportage by a Eminent Indian News Channel of yours in such bad times could be fatal in long run.

Maybe am hyperventilating, but I hope you have got hold of my concerns and do take some remedial measures to counter any damage(seen or unseen) which may have already happened among the masses. Please try and propagate UNITY and PEACE, rather than discovering new reasons for differences. Show the world the examples of Hindu Muslim living in peace and let them emulate you. Am not suggesting the channel to be hypocrite, but the news should not in any case be a shot in arm for the anti-India forces. , in these terrible times.

Let's try and be messenger of peace. This will be a great service to our nation and world.

    Old is Gold..

    Old is gold,
    life is unfold,
youth's been spent and its been sold,
so much has been heard and so much has been told,
body has attained its ultimate mold,
summers are more hot and winters are more cold,
physique become lean and thoughts become bold,
experience weighs more than body weight and you often scold,
it's the time you realize futility of materialistic life,
get closer to nature and spirituality gets hold,
finally the fast paced life reaches a destination - wold,
All said and done.. they are our respectful elders,
and should be cared of affectionately,
    rather than being merely doled.

    PATANG

String of KitesImage by Peter Davis

Udi re udi.. dekho patang udi ,
    koi rang birangi wali,
    to koi berang udi.
    Aao jhoome nache gayein jaise,
    Mann ki dor se bandhi
    mann matang udi.

    Swachhand ithlati fire
    khule akash me,
    Lage mil gya hai wo
    thi jiske talash me.
    Ab na koi roke,
    Ab na koi toke,
    Lachak rahi hai jaise
    Koi ghariyal ghadi.

    Unchi hi unchi
    wo udti hi jaye,
    Kabhi jaye dayen
    to kabhi bayen jaye.
    O o re dekho,
    Jara ra sambhlo,
    Dhoom macha rahi hai jaise
    Koi hurdang me khadi.

    Hai... ye kya..?

     Kat gayi patang hai
    fir bhi  balkha rahi,
    Jaise sagar k tal pe
    kai sipiyan lehra rahi.
    Jeevan bhi hai
    ek patang yaaro,
    dor hai uparwale k hath,
    Jiyo ji bhar k jindagi,
    na jane kab
    ye chhor jaye sath.

    Mitti me mil gayi patang,
    Ab sirf manjha
    aur charkhi padi.
